Palin and McCain’s Shotgun Marriage

Op-Ed columnist Frank Rich of the New York Times nails it, nails it, and nails it again. I read it from top to bottom, and was amazed to find so many themes consistent with the entries I wrote today, the first day of this nascent blog. From Palin's nastiness and lie-filled speech, to the piss-poor job done by McCain of the only really presidential task he's been charged with, to the questions about judgment that said piss-poor job raises, to the deterioration of McCain v.2000 into McCain v.2008, it's all there.
