Further to my earlier entry, and as Andrew Sullivan is reporting on his most excellent blog, the decision has apparently been made to send the great reformer and VP candidate for "Ready on Day One" candidate John McCain into hiding for two full weeks right at the height of the election season.
I could write a few paragraphs expressing my utter disgust at the fraud that the GOP is trying to foist on this nation. But there are only so many ways to say the same thing, to boggle in amazement at the overt attempt to bypass the democratic process, and the utter contempt that the Republican Party feels for this nation's people. Andrew did a pretty good job of it already.
Sarah Palin says she's ready to take on Washington, but apparently she's not ready to take on the press corps. Words fail me.
